This website has been designed to support, inspire and encourage women in youth work. We hope that it will be a place where you can deepen your understanding, develop friendships, and ask for advice about situations you are facing. We've created this website so that you can share skills, questions, experience and successes with other members to increase the effectiveness of women in youth work in the UK.

Any forum for discussion needs some guidelines as to what's appropriate. We want to encourage freedom of speech, but we do need to make sure that this is a safe place for discussion. We have provided some guidelines for members that will help us all to value and affirm others while giving us space to ask questions, express opinions and offer advice.

The Sophia Network has the right to remove posts that contravene these guidelines. We also have the right to take away access to the website if someone consistently violates these guidelines.
